CV Karin Th. Faase
Karin Th. Faase joined itim focus in 2010 to put it on the map. She will as a partner combine her interest in organisation culture together with her experience in change management with her business acumen.
The results of the research of Geert Hofstede combined with the practical tools developed by Bob Waisfisz together with his in-depth knowledge gained during the last 25 years has created a sound foundation. Karin sees it as her challenge to turn itim focus into a successful business venture.
Karin completed a study in human resources at the Rotterdam University, and graduated in 1998 at top of her class. She majored in: Intercultural management, management consulting, managing mergers & acquisition and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to joining itimfocus Karin conducted a number of assignments such as:
- Managing a culture change program within the Dutch World Broadcasting company
- Preparing the takeover within Tiscali by KPN
- Conducting a reorganization within Van Egeraath Architects in the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands and Russia
- Advising Randstad (Europe’s largest temporary agency) and brokerage & banking companies on human resources issues.
- Managing projects in the field of performance management, management development, compensation and benefits and talent management.
- Hoek Loos in the area of Marketing.
- Nyloplast with subsidiaries in America and liaisons in Japan as HR Manager
- Epson Europe, Headquarter for the EMEA Region years as head of Human Resources (incl. training & development and General Affairs)
Karin is a senator of the service club Junior Chamber International, section The Netherlands. Since 2010 she is also active within the KNSB, the apex Dutch skating association. What is more she is mother of young twin daughters which, typically Dutch, has made that for the time being she works part-time. This gives her time to immerse herself in the content of the work of itim focus.
